NewsFlow™ HDX is a second generation tapeless digital newsroom solution that takes your production to high definition video quality. This end-to-end workflow provides an affordable solution that is highly scalable for small and large market stations.

One Apella HDX Media Server
- One channel input / one channel output (scalable to two input / two output per chassis)
- Virtually unlimited channel I/O by networking Apella servers together
- HD-SDI, SDI (center-cut/downconverted), and analog simultaneous output
- Automated ingest of SAT feeds, ENG, Reuters, Pathfire content
(Pathfire requires optional VT Media Exchange Server)
- Embedded proxy server for low resolution editing
- Multi-format DV and MPEG-2 up to 300 Mb/s
- Mixed HD and SD playback from a single playlist (auto-upconversion and downconversion as required)
